Lauren Kelly Vice President of Community Outreach
My name is Lauren Kelly and I am a fourth year graduating in May 2009. A microbiology major and Spanish minor, I hope to attend medical school and receive a Master of Public Health following graduation. I am interested in global infectious diseases prevention and management and currently work in the laboratory of Dr. Julie Moore, studying the immunopathogenesis of placental malaria. Driven by social activism, I am the Director of Service Learning for UGA Alternative Spring Break and teach ESL classes to day laborers at Home Depot.
Lastly, I believe that strangers are family we have yet to meet.
